AT CAMP MUSICMANIA!!!

VISITING UNI ♫

We ask that all of our campers review UNI Information for Visitors regarding COVID-19 safety protocols before coming to camp.

  • Those who have not been vaccinated are strongly encouraged to continue wearing face coverings in accordance with CDC guidelines. Individuals who are fully vaccinated can continue to wear face coverings on campus if they choose to do so.
  • Camp Musicmania staff will be wearing face coverings throughout the week.
  • High touch areas will be cleaned, including instruments between classes.
  • Frequent hand washing will be encouraged.  

 

RUSSELL HALL

Our facility is located on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa. A campus map is located online at https://campusmap.uni.edu/ The address is 2601 Minnesota Street.  Campers will enter the main lobby doors each day for camp.

 

PARKING

You will be able to park in the Russell Lot lot, Monday - Friday, to drop off and pick up your campers.

 

ATTIRE ♫

Thank you for sending your child to camp with appropriate clothing with logos/graphic designs that are friendly and considerate. Please avoid flip- flop shoes, as tennis shoes work best for our activities. 

 

SNACK ♫

Every camper should bring their own snack each day. Make sure items are clearly labeled with the child's name.  Found lunch bags and tupperware containers will be left in the Russell lobby table, at the end of each day for pick up.

Younger Division (Grades 1-3): 8:00am - 12:00pm

 Older Division (Grades 4-6): 1:00pm - 5:00pm

 

DAY 1:

On Monday, report to the LOBBY of Russell Hall, on the UNI campus.

 

Please register at the tables (labeled alphabetically by last name):

  • Double check your emergency contact info
  • Drop off any medications (labeled with first/last/& grade and strict dosage/delivery instructions)

After checking in at the tables in the lobby, your camper will be escorted to their Camp Musicmania group.

 

DAYS 2-5:

 

** Monday is the ONLY day you register in the Lobby. **

 

Younger Campers (1st-3rd) must be signed in with their group leader when they arrive and are picked up at the end of each day.

Older Campers (4-6th) can be dropped off at the main doors or north doors to Russell Hall. Please instruct your camper to proceed immediately to the lobby and check in with their teacher.

ALL Campers may begin arriving 15 minutes before camp starts.

 

DAILY PICK UP ♫

Younger division campers need to be picked up after camp each day.  We will not release a younger camper without their adult transportation.

**Please pick up your campers at their designated times (12pm and 5pm)**

 

Older division campers MAY make arrangements to meet their parent or ride at a designated door. We are no longer able to be responsible for your child once they leave their group.

 

Please remind your camper that only respectful, appropriate, and kind behaviors will be tolerated at our camp. Parents will be contacted immediately if problems should occur. THANK YOU for supporting our goal of building a caring community for learning.
